About
Helle is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Exhalation Technology, which she established in 2003 to develop breath-based diagnostics for airway inflammation in horses. In 2014, she shifted the company’s focus to human health, where it is now pioneering point-of-care breath analysis for earlier disease detection.
She brings broad pharmaceutical experience from senior roles at Fisons, Rhône Poulenc Rorer, Alcon, and Galderma, working with asthma, allergy, and dermatology products. Helle also founded Equine Healthcare ApS, where she developed leading inhalation and nebuliser devices for equine asthma, underscoring her track record in translating innovation into practical healthcare solutions.

About
John is the Executive Chairman of the Board at Exhalation Technology, bringing over 25 years of experience in MedTech and healthcare. A former army officer and qualified engineer, he has held senior roles at GE Healthcare, boutique consultancies, large corporates, and within the NHS.
He has led strategic partnerships across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and advised on system transformation and market access. At Exhalation Technology, John guides the company’s strategic direction and growth while also serving as chair and non-executive director within the NHS.

Stig Lytke Brejl

Stig is the Chief Technology Officer at Exhalation Technology, where he has been a key member of the team since 2012. He has shaped the company’s strategic direction while gaining extensive hands-on experience in MedTech product development, quality assurance, and regulatory approval.
With nearly 35 years of professional experience, Stig has held senior management roles across multiple industries and worked internationally as a management consultant, advising on growth, operations, and transformation. He holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering and a business degree from Copenhagen Business School, combining technical expertise with commercial insight to drive Exhalation
